Sandwich Plate System

GIM Inc. of Louisville Kentucky is a Network Partner of SPS Technology and a manufacturer of Sandwich Plate System (SPS) in the US. SPS is a load-bearing structural composite panel with a high strength-to-weight ratio and extended fatigue life, which makes it an ideal replacement for concrete. Originally developed to address challenges in the offshore oil industry, Sandwich Plate System is now used in civil applications, including:

• Bridges, both new build as well as refurbishment of ageing Bridges,
• Stadiums + Arenas, including the SPS Technology Terrace Decking System, 
• Building applications including floor panels,
• Clean Room Floor panels, 
• Special Applications covering threat protection including safe rooms, safety doors and more.
